Product Detail

polyethylene (PE, short for PE) is a thermoplastic resin prepared by the polymerization of ethylene. In industry, the copolymer of ethylene with a small amount of alpha-olefin is also included. Polyethylene is odorless, non-toxic, feel like wax, with excellent low temperature resistance (the lowest use temperature can reach -100~-70°C), good chemical stability, resistance to most acid and base erosion (not resistant to acid with oxidizing properties). Insoluble in general solvent at room temperature, small water absorption, good electrical insulation.

Polyethylene is very sensitive to environmental stresses (chemical and mechanical effects), and its heat resistance to aging is worse than that of polymer chemical structures and processed strips. Polyethylene can be processed in the same way as thermoplastics. Widely used, mainly used to manufacture film, packaging materials, containers, pipes, monofilament, wire and cable, daily necessities, and can be used as television, radar and other high frequency insulation materials.

Application

It has good heat and cold resistance, good chemical stability, but also has high rigidity and toughness, good mechanical strength. Dielectric property, environmental stress cracking resistance is also good. The melting temperature ranges from 120 ℃ to 160℃. For materials with large molecules, the recommended melting temperature ranges from 200 ℃ to 250℃. It is a PE material of pipe grade, widely used in municipal and building drainage, gas, heating and heating, wire and cable threading and agricultural water-saving irrigation and other fields
