PVC hose production process:

Mixing → kneading → extrusion granulation → extrusion forming → traction → coiling → packaging → quality inspection → finished product

 

1. Kneading of ingredients  

All kinds of raw materials are weighed accurately and put into kneader in a certain order.  Feeding sequence: PVC resin, plasticizer, stabilizer, lubricant.  When the temperature reaches 100~ 110℃, the material can be discharged.

 

2.extrusion granulation  

This process to control the temperature, the highest point of the material temperature should be controlled at higher than the melting temperature of the material, lower than the extrusion molding temperature, that is, between 155~160℃.  Granulation should achieve the purpose of full mixing and initial plasticization.

The temperature of each zone of granulator is as follows:

Area of 80 ~ 90 ℃;  Area of 130 ~ 140 ℃;  Three areas 140 ~ 150 ℃;  Starting from 150 ~ 160 ℃.

 

3. extrusion tube forming  

The temperature of extrusion tube forming is slightly higher. In general, the transparency of pipe is related to the forming temperature. In a certain temperature range, the high temperature transparency is good, and vice versa.  At the same time, traction speed and cooling speed will affect the transparency of the pipe.  The traction speed is slightly larger, the cooling speed is fast, and the transparency of the pipe is better.  Traction speed is generally 10%~ 15% faster than extrusion speed.  The cooling of the transparent hose is sprayed with cold water at the die of the nose and then cooled in the water tank.

The temperature of each zone of extrusion molding is as follows:

Zone 1:90 ℃;  Zone two 140 degrees 5℃;  Three zones 160 degrees 5℃;  Four zones 170 degrees 5℃.

 

4. PVC hose extrusion precautions:  

1. directly with powder extrusion molding, the temperature of the extruder is about 5℃ lower than with granular material.

2. In addition to the smaller diameter (φ60mm below) of the tube blank cooling does not need to be blown into the compressed air, the larger diameter of the tube blank cooling must be blown into the tube compressed air, in order to ensure the accuracy and stability of the tube diameter size.  Pay attention to the stable pressure of compressed air.

3. Pay attention to the stability of traction speed and avoid the change of pipe diameter or wall thickness caused by traction instability.

4. If the machine is shut down for a long time, it must be dismantled and cleaned up to avoid decomposition problems.
