POLYVINYL CHLORIDE FILM, is made of PVC resin and other modifiers through calendering process or blow molding process.  The general thickness is 0.08~0.2mm, greater than 0.25mm called PVC sheet.  Plasticizer, stabilizer, lubricant and other functional processing AIDS are added to PVC resin, and the film is formed by calendering.

PVC Film can be roughly divided into two categories, one is Plasticized PVC Film, also known as soft PVC Film , the other is Unplasticized PVC Film, also known as hard PVC Film .

Among them, hard PVC accounts for about 2/3 of the market, and soft PVC accounts for 1/3.  Soft PVC is generally used for floor, ceiling and leather surface, but because soft PVC contains softener (this is also the difference between soft PVC and hard PVC), easy to become brittle, not easy to preserve, so its range of use is limited.  Hard PVC does not contain softener, so it has good flexibility, easy molding, not easy to crisp, non-toxic and pollution-free, long preservation time, so it has great development and application value.  The essence of PVC film is a vacuum blister film, used for the surface packaging of all kinds of panels, so it is also known as decorative film, adhesive film, used in building materials, packaging, medicine and many other industries.  Among them, the building materials industry accounts for the largest proportion of 60%, followed by packaging industry, there are a number of other small applications of the industry.

⑴ According to the raw material used for film forming: polyethylene film, polypropylene film, polyvinyl chloride film and polyester film.

(2) Classification by film use: agricultural film (here according to the specific use of agricultural film, can be divided into plastic film and greenhouse film);  Packaging film (PACKAGING film according to its specific use, and can be divided into food packaging film and various industrial products packaging film, etc.) and for special environment, with special use of breathable film, water soluble film and piezoelectric properties of the film.

(3) According to the film molding method classification: extrusion plasticization, and then blow molding film, called blow molding film;  After extrusion plasticization, and then the molten material flow from the mold mouth forming film, called flow film;  In the calendering machine by several rolls rolled plasticizing materials made of film, called calendering film.
