production process of EPE

EPE (ExpandableClimatic Tests) is a removable polyethylene, also known as pearl wool.  Non-crosslinked closed cell structure, it is a high foam polyethylene product produced by extrusion of low density polyethylene (LDPE) as the main raw material.

EPE has high elasticity and white appearance.  Because it is a completely independent bubble body, it is light and can bend, so it has the effect of dispersing and buffering the impact force.  In addition, EPE also has the characteristics of heat preservation, moisture insulation, heat insulation, sound insulation, anti-friction, anti-aging, corrosion resistance and so on.  These advantages make EPE pearl cotton is gradually replacing the traditional packaging materials, widely used in all walks of life in anti-fall, anti-collision, anti-impact packaging.

 

EPE production process and technology

 

The production of EPE includes three parts: the pearl cotton rolling part, the pearl cotton deep processing part and the pearl cotton bag making part.  In turn, each part includes several small parts, as shown below:
