I. Material characteristics:

PVC is made of vinyl chloride monomer (VCM) polymerization, PVC material has non-toxic, anti-aging and acid and alkali resistance characteristics, so it is very suitable for the use of chemical pipeline.  And with PVC raw materials to add a certain amount of solid additives (no plasticizer) composition of the mixture, called hard polyvinyl chloride (referred to as UPVC).

CPVC is a polymer material modified by chlorination of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) again. After chlorination, the chlorine content of PVC resin increases from 56.7% to 63-69%, which increases the chemical stability and thus improves the heat resistance and corrosion resistance of acid, alkali, salt and oxidant of the material.  Its thermal deformation temperature and mechanical properties are much higher than those of UPVC.  Therefore, CPVC is one of the best engineering materials for industrial pipelines.

2. pipeline system introduction:

UPVC and CPVC pipeline system have corrosion resistance, impact resistance, not easy to deformation, smooth inner wall, not easy to scale, good thermal insulation, non-conductive, convenient bonding, long service life and other characteristics.  Therefore, it gradually replaces other metal piping systems on the advantages of high cost performance and low construction cost, and UPVC and CPVC piping systems are convenient and fast maintenance, without long downtime and huge losses, so UPVC and CPVC piping systems are the first choice for current industrial piping design.

The maximum allowable service temperature of UPVC piping system is 60 ℃, and the long-term service temperature is 45 ℃.  It is suitable for conveying some corrosive media with temperature lower than 45℃;  It can also be used for the transportation of ordinary pressure fluid, generally used in water supply and drainage pipelines, agricultural irrigation pipelines, environmental engineering pipelines, air conditioning pipelines and so on.

The maximum allowable service temperature of CPVC piping system is 110 ℃, and the long-term service temperature is 95 ℃.  It is suitable for conveying hot water and corrosive media within the allowable pressure range of the standard.  Generally used in petroleum, chemical, electronic, electric power, metallurgy, paper, food and beverage, medicine, electroplating and other industrial fields
